Nadinoo at Work

a

I was so excited to discover these photos of Nadia from Nadinoo at work in her studio via The Cupcake Diary. They are originally from This is Naive, part of a wonderful series she's doing about people at work. The clothes from the Nadinoo line are infinitely drool worthy and always something I look forward to seeing each season.

I've been designing collections in my head since about the third grade but I've never figured out exactly how to get them out of my head and into 3D. I love getting this behind the scenes peek into the world of someone who has realized a way to make that happen!

Oh my gosh. This is how all of us should keep our studios!!!! Slopers all organized, threads on dowels in color order and vintage patterns and pretty prints everywhere. Thanks for posting this, how beautiful. It's making me motivated to reorganize!!!!

these photos are exceptionally beautiful. i love watching the design process and seeing people who are so organized with their work (i mean, look at that bottom photo). When I used to draw patterns and cut fabric for a class I took, my work area never looked like this.

I actually have a dress coming to the shop soon that I call 'the nadinoo dress'. unfortunately it's way too big on me, but the print looks almost identical to the swimsuit in the top photo. Nadia really is an inspiration. So glad you posted this!

Oh my I am in utter awe at this - I'm not familiar with this designer and delighted you've pointed her out!

If I had a studio/study it would be utter chaos, you can tell a lot about a person by looking at the state of their surroundings x

What a beautiful work space. Much nicer than my cardboard box and plastic shelf!
